Re: Alix0r's 04 GP Build Thread (pic heavy)

So finally got around to installing my BMR front and rear lateral arms today, bought them of ebay a few weeks back for super cheap! :th_biggrin2:
Anyway heres some pics.

Stock arms

Installed... these things are beefy as hell! Lol

I have gmpp trailing arms as you can see, but now i want some BMR arms lol they are solid quality

Re: Alix0r's 04 GP Build Thread (pic heavy)

Drove around real quick after i installed them and from what i can tell so far a big improvement in the back end.. it doesnt feel loose around corners like before. I will push it to see what it can really do on monday when i have a bunch of on ramps and off ramps i have to take lol( the ramps are loops lol)

Re: Alix0r's 04 GP Build Thread (pic heavy)

Just saying I would hate to see you try to be a racekar driver in a Grand Prix.

Re: Alix0r's 04 GP Build Thread (pic heavy)

Lol i know what the car can and cant do, just want to see if it makes a difference how i normally drive is all lol

Re: Alix0r's 04 GP Build Thread (pic heavy)

Ive got some new Hankook v12 245/45/18 coming in so i will once i get them installed. I matched the stock lateral arms identical so it shouldnt be off that much

Re: Alix0r's 04 GP Build Thread (pic heavy)

That is a clean looking ride as far as im concerned. How big of rims are you running to fit those massive brakes?

Re: Alix0r's 04 GP Build Thread (pic heavy)

That are just 18's.. I wanted some 19's but with the added rotational mass I was throwing on there with the 14" rotors I didn't want to screw the tranny up.. I'm still on a stock tranny with 140k on the clock and still shifts amazing!

Re: Alix0r's 04 GP Build Thread (pic heavy)

Re: Alix0r's 04 GP Build Thread (pic heavy)

So got my air ride struts in today, just need compressor, lines, and management system... after alot of thought decided to go with the Accuair E-level system, it is truly the best system for what i want to do with the ride.

Also just finishing up a little project today :th_biggrin2:
