• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Albany Area

WOW, I'd Love to see your GP, you have an Impressive mod list.

I only just started on mine really.

btw I'm in Ravena which is about 20-30 mins south of albany, where are you?

I live in saugerties. I was just in Ravena about 2 weeks ago to meet up with another new member on here who has a 05 base model. Mabey we can all get together at some point and hang out. The other kids name is Jared. We will have to work something out.

PDM was something that started out as a joke. I'm the guy with the tools and the garge, therefore I'm always working on someone's car. A bunch of the characters on a forum would port an extra exhaust manifold and have grand plans to go into business. They said "McCoy Motorsports" etc. it became such an epidemic, I made a joke about it. Part of the joke was Barney the dinosaur (which was part of another running joke). Needless to say, it kinda stuck.

My mod list is a too long to list out, the major items are
Stage 3 heads
1.8 rockers
S1X cam
Gen V
Northstar TB
Meziere electric WP
Full intercooler
8 rib SC belt
SLP headers
Built up trans with 3.29 gearing.

There's very little on my car that hasn't been messed with in one way or another. :th_mischievious:

Holler if you guys plan a get together, or maybe we should meet up at Lebanon Valley Dragway one of these Saturdays.

I'd like the idea of small meet, I'm new to this car but engine is never really any different when switching from car to car. I had a 2000 Nissan Maxima, that was heavily modded. This time around though, I don't plan to mod my Daily Driver as heavy, so basically it will be all the bolt-ons for me plus some visual.

This weekend I'm flushing the tranny and doing spark-plug....two things on this car at 82,000 miles that have never been done...it only had 79,000 when i bought it

Not real-close, but a bit west of Albany, in Rome. Most of the guys who come by regularly for work are from Utica/Syracuse, but had some from Amsterdam/Buffalo/Rochester, and even Philly on occassion.

If you're ever out this way, not too much reason to come here (maybe the Casino, or a Syracuse dome game), get ahold of me & I'll try having some guys come by with pretty cool mods. Just got down to 11.4 so far with a Utica guy's turbo Regal, and some others have nice basic mid-low 13's GP's/MC's that are very clean.
