Damn, sounds like you got a long way ahead of you my man.

Best of luck!

P.S. I like your grill yo, you do that yourself?

Your not going to get away with a 3.4" to a 2.8" by just adding a cam and injectors...MAYBE a 3.0". It's a GenV car guy...a 2.8" on a GenIII is a XP/IC/Injector/Header/Tuned car...like I said...your looking at a 3.0"-3.2" area.

Inj and pump are the best things on that list. Cuz the factory inj and pump crap out at 281whp....trust me :/ gonna be sick though man and I too love the grilss. How'd u do em?

I painted the chrome grills black, went around the edges in red, and finished with clear coat. I'm going for cometic head gaskets, because I trust them and I don't mind paying the extra $. I'm staying with stock heads, and running an XP because this is a daily driven car...

Stock heads...stock head gaskets...hell even I am running stock Felpro's with my hogged out heads.

I've seen and heard of a few vacuum leak issues with the MLS gaskets not sealing properly. Just get the Felpros...if you want to bump compression a tad...which is what your doing by getting a thinner gasket...have the heads or block milled a smidge.

I'd like to know how and where the head gasket is leaking and what you've done to confirm your suspicions.

Simply because head gaskets dont seem to be common at all on 3800's.
