Airbag light, wheel controls, horn doesn't work.

I bought this 98 GTP that had a bad trans. Pulled motor, swapped trans, put the car back to stock. Everything runs fine except:

Air bag light on, cruise doesn't work, steering wheel controls don't light up (or work) and the horn doesn't work.

The brake lights work, wipers, turn signals, brights/headlights work fine.

I thought it might be the turn signal switch in the column. I don't think that's it because everything worked fine before I pulled the motor/trans.

I've checked the fuses and connectors under the dash where the harness plugs in for the switch.

When I pulled the motor/trans I didn't drop the cradle. Everything came out the top and the steering was never disconnected. Before I go to pick n pull to get a switch what else can I check? Grounds? Where?

id think clock spring as well. the horn, could be the wires under the air bag, the wires under the hood to the horn, or the horn its self is dead.

either way the steering wheel needs to come off to get to the clock spring.

Changed the clock spring. No go. Horn doesn't work on the wheel but when I hit the lock button twice it blips. I found the steering wheel control issue which was a fuse I must have missed.

Checked the relays, Kinda stuck. Any other ideas?

the 2 wires from the air bag were plugged in? the long black one that you push in the column and twist, and the one that sits on a stud?

for the abs light, next step is to look under your front seat, see if you have a yellow plug, if so open it, clean it put it back, if that dont fix it, under the pass seat, and then under the rug is a air bag module, it was the cause of my air bag light. i changed it and the light was off instantly.

my guess is if the cowl leaks, the floor gets wet and over time kills the module.

Awesome. I'll have to check that out tomorrow. I'm done being in the garage today. I'm selling the car. I just want to get rid of the air bag light.

Yeah the wires from the air bag were plugged in and the one that twists. Still stumped on the horn.

i got my car cheap because every light on the dash was lit up lol, all in all it cost under 100 to turn them all off. that air bag module goes for as cheap as 20 or as high as 40, or in your tool box real easy at a pick and pull yard. where mine came from.

funny i just saw where your from. (my module came from ohio, from another member snatched it up for me)
