which wire do you tap off of on the oxy sensor , i did the purple and nothing .......help , 97 gt na 3.8

it should be the purple wire, you got it right. is the gauge turning on or is it not reading?

yeah its hooked to switched , and hooked to purple and it stays on rich and never moves , anybody got a idea? and my milage is poop only around 16-17 mpg . i have tried everything i know to do , new plugs , coils , wires, new thermostat 195 , put them super turbo replacement mufflers , and from about 3000 rpm and on runs like a scalded dog , and the only code i have on the puter is evap emissions control purge flow , for whitch ive had since ive owned the car . i put a new purge flow valve and it went away for a while but is now back , loosing my mind here , i love the car its got 195,000 and i love the way it handles , so much id love to build a second motor and make it a gtp

maybe you are running really rich? have you replaced the front o2 sensor?
