Air compressor gasket

When I bought my car and started working under the hood I found this:

Well I wasn't too happy about that, but it was no big deal in the winter. Now that summer's coming though that needs fixed ASAP. I know I need to get a nut and a gasket and bleed & refill the coolant, but should I do anything else considering it's been sitting detached like that for who knows how long?

Also, I think I can pull a nut from a junkyard, but where's the best place for a new gasket?
 


Well, looking at the picture I just noticed another bolt missing (right side of AC in picture). So what exactly is that?
 
You can get the orings for the compressor at any parts store for like $3 Then get it vacuumed and see if it holds a vacuum before you send money on any r 134a
