Ahhh...freshly painted dash



Nice. You can always prep the plastic with denatured alcohol after you sand it for those wanting to know. Just don't use regular alcohol.
 
i have a green GP and my lights inside are red like everyone elses but i got a nice kenwood with red lights think if i painted my dash any other color it can come out nice looking?....my interior is Tan
 
I'm not really sure what would look good with tan, whatever you do make sure you take your time and prep well. Let me know what color you choose.
 


The silver does look nice, it looks like it belongs that way.
Some people have some real funky taste when it comes to painting the dash but that's nice.
 
well i was thinking do u think the black/graphite interior (door pannels Front and back seats would look good with a tan headliner and tan carpet ?
also i ndont mean to be a pain in the a$$ but can u make a write up for the How To section on this?
 
Im not sure what the door panels would look like, it couldn't hurt to try. And for this project I used 2 write ups. 1. How to remove the dash. 2. How to paint plastic pieces. I can post up both links if you'd like.

It has a nice gloss finish. It's nice and smooth to the touch an has that shine. Just make sure you wet sand with 2000 grit after clear coating.
 
ive got a green GP that has black interior - im thinking i wanna paint the dash etc, but im just not sure what colour? What are some of your suggestions?
