Ok I got the entire kit to install my flip dvd player into my 04 comp g. There are a couple things I need help with
First off I will be installing aftermarket speakers in the doors and in the rear. Do I still need to use the factory amplified plug in? I have factory 6 disc CD player with monsoon system and OnStar.
Second thing, my DVD player has to see power-ground-power to watch movies. Can I use the traction control button to act as a toggle switch to do this sequence?
Third question. I took my front door panels off the other day to do my interior color change. The stock speakers are in a housing, how did u guys bolt ur aftermarket speakers into those housings? I don't have shallow mount speakers so I don't think the speakers would work when the window is rolled all the way down if I deleted the factory housings.
