That's what I'm assuming. The air would travel through the front vents and out the inlet to the intake. I really don't see you getting much more air because it is also really tight in there. Just doesn't seem right to me. But looks awesome on the outside.

I think this applies to this thread so I'll ask it here... the hood retails for just about 1,000 shipped, how much did the painting and installing cost you?

I guess you could call this good aftermarket, it's 2 stock hoods welded together to make a high rise hood and its one of a kind.

Not too sure, $500 deductible. I rear ended an explore and bought it then had the body shop install it place of the stock one the insurance would have paid for.
