Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

After Market Fuel Pressure Regulator

That's the same FPR ZZP uses on their rails. SOB leaks on most people's rails too, they did on mine.

Aeromotive or Magnaflow more $ than a 15$ crapo regulator but their far more reliable/stable

the small outlet on the OE FPR can cause pressure creep at low loads so i dont really plan on an OE FPR housing for our rails... not to mention pulsation with big injectors

I took the stock ZZP one off the rails and use the aeromotive. Scotty, if you want my old one.....you can have it.

Well I was kinda had my eye on some fuel rails, but after I sat down and thought about it, Id be better off staying focused on the transmission and the other little projects I wanted to complete with that work.

Id love to have a complete AN Fuel line set up and the fuel rails would have made that super easy, but I'll wait for now unless a deal I cant pass up comes along on ZZP or PRJ fuel rails.

I have an AFPR I believe from SFPHQ. It mounts in the stock FPR location. Looks like a stock FPR but with a set screw. I have it in a box in my garage. I used to use it and I went back to stock. Donno if i'll use it again.

dont buy the zzp rails. like dubob said, they are junk. the old style ones are fine, but the new ones with the afpr were a PITA. they were fine when they were working, but i could never get a good pressure reading, and i always had to be messing with it.

i am awaiting a set of paul and prj, and can't wait to go back to the stock (sorenson) fpr.

id say save your money and get a set of PRJ logs

Well this I did not know. I have a a new FPR, one of the improved ones. I would like to have a set of PRJ's but my Lord they want some money for them.

you will NOT be dissapointed in the PRJ logs. i had a set before, but didnt like the red, so i got the zzp ones. this time i got nice black ones. should be here anytime now

Actully I had a set of old design ZZP rails, they were POS too. Leaky bastards. I resealed them twice, still leaked. I got another set slightly used set from ZZP, they were leaky bastards too. After so much BS through them, and a dangrous fire hazzard under my hood for 2 months, I got rid of those damn things and got some real rails, a set of PRJs.

ZZP rails don't come anywhere near close to comparing to the quailty of these. ZZP needs to learn how to make rails from PRJ. NPT fittings throughout the rails and a high pressure fuel injection system doesn't belong under our hoods IMO. PRJs are o-ringed throughout and will stay sealed and leak free. IMO, aftermarket rails need to be o-ring or have autoclave style ends, just like other aftermarket rails for many other cars. Also the valve cover mounting on the ZZP rails ain't solid, and thats been proven by many others. PRJs use stock mounting location, just about as solid as you can get.

PRJ FTMFW period...

You bring up another fine point. When I found out they didnt use stock mounting points in favor of the valve cover, the first thing that popped in my head is that you have that valve cover, with its bolts and that rubber seal that is torqued down to what maybe 10ft lbs if that. With that rubber fitting all the valve cover bolts have, that thing has to give some either with vibration or heat expansion, neither I see good for something as critical as the fuel rails.

I remember my '89 GP with the 2.8 V6 had fuel rails in it. I wonder how close those things would be or if there is any other vehicle that has fuel rails stock that we could use. If there isnt one, I guess I'll have to save for a set of PRJ's, I just dont want red. clear or black would be fine, not red though.

*ahem*

Okay, see, its just wrong to post up that picture and then leave me hangin'. Not even tell me where you got em from, how much they cost, can I get a set and so one. Just wrong I tell ya.

its not that simple lol
.700 bore ID (-8 extrusion) or .780 id (-10 extrusion)
plus i still need to finish the 100amp service to my garage and also a 5hp VFD for my lathe...:D
