• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

AFR Error will not work.

dint see both pics before.

looked at my set up, in column im using manifold absolute pressure in KPA

and rows is et to rpm's. engine speed sensor.

in your maths set up window the units drop down, mine is set to "one 0"

thats just for VE tuning.

maf tuning you can use long term fuel trims for idle and cruise, but for wot you tune off the wideband.

yes exactly what you want. my scanner set up for maf vs wb

the 9.7 there would be a 10 but i had to play with it a bit to make it match the scanner vs the gauge.

i did for my tahoe i VE tuned it some. same math. im just maf tuned on the regal. been thinking of toying with it on the regal but lack the caring to do so. i set it all up in the scanner so im 1/2 way there if i want lol

So if i set up my AFR error table like the way yours is set up i would be able to Maf tune my GP using the data acquired within that graph?

those two are what i use for maf vs wb.

dont need the wb error for maf tuning at all. just VE tuning.

Hmmmm looks like the only thing different with your WB error vs Maf chart and mine is the error math i will change mine and see. It was strange how i was getting no data at all. I was told in order to tune using the maf you needed a wideband one you get to a certain HZ because then your fuel trims no longer play a role in the fueling. Was i told wrong?

thats right, once you enter PE mode what ever throttle percent your set to it no longer uses the ltft's and runs off the pe file, if you zero'ed out the time vs rpm folder you"ll need to maf tune up top for sure. it will run lean on ya before a 1/4 mile is up if you dont.

i also log the commanded AF and the wb AF as well as the WB err in the charts area. in my bottom row of charts, you can see em in the pic there.

I think I used the predefined maths to get mine to work. and i'm also wondering why the thread was created today but the date shows as last year.
