Aeroforce says Misfire...

So Just put the Aeroforce in two days ago.. and the last two days on the drive to and from work Ive been getting random misfires on it. Yesterday I only noticed cylinder 2, but today all of them caught a misfire atleast once. My question how reliable is the Info that comes from the Aeroforce? Can I trust that they actually are misfires?

It happened when under light load or when backing off the trottle to coast . It has also been freezing here the last two days freezing rain crap. I doubt that has anything to do with it. This was also when the car was fully warmed up.

I plan on doing Plugs and Wires as the car has 80K on it and idk if its ever been done. Anything else guys?

Mine always tells me I have a misfire on 4 at idle, sometimes up to 18 before it recycles. I've changed plugs, wires, coil packs, and even the injector. Still has misfire so either aeroforce is wrong or these casrs just have a natural misfire problem. I gave up

i have one at cold idle when it eats coolant on #6.

goes away once it revs/warms up.

Have you tried a case learn?

I'm not surprised to see a healthy 3800 misfiring only at idle. If it's misfiring elsewhere, I'd be worried.

Well that is why the misfire while under light load concerns me. Im assuming that when im coasting I shouldnt be concerned from what you say.

cover your bases. change your plugs and wires. swap around coils to see if the "misfire" follws one coil, replace if need be.

Well Ive seen the misfire on all cylinders so far. So if it is coils it would be all of them. My guess is this would not happen all at once?

Well most likely Ill do the plugs and wires before it gets nice out. Hopefully in the next couple weeks and ill just keep an eye on the aeroforce if it starts going crazy then Ill worry I guess

3800's are notorious for idle misfires, especially when we go to a colder plug and smaller gap. The most often time a car will misfire is when it is wet/damp out and first starts up. If your going to replace the wires/plugs, put dielectric grease on the coil pack point and the plug.
