In the market for a direct fit catalytic converter.. but I was wondering where I should get it from or if there is something else I should get instead. Right now the car has an SES light for the catalyst system bank 1. Just want the light to be off.

My dad works at a car dealership and can get me the stock direct fit cat for 210. Should i get that or a down pipe with a cat from ZZP?

If you dont plan on modding the car at all, just get the one you dad can, that is cheaper than an aftermarket one.

But if I get headers I wont need the cat? or I still will? And also what does the down pipe do? Is it the area where the stock converter would be?

You wont need the cat converter. But your ses light will most likely stay on unless u get the conv or delete it. the cat conv comes into play after the flex pipe.

What would i get in place of the cat converter? And how would you delete it, do you need a tuner? Or do you get those fake sensors from ZZP?

Question one:

Do you plan to stay stock?

If yes, get the one from your dads work

Question two: do you have tail pipe e-tests

If yes, get the one from your dads work.

I dont know right at this time i dont plan on doing much. But the car already has the msd ignition. And I will ask him.

I got 2.5 inch dp into a high-flow cat and my ses light is always on b/c I have not gotten the fake o2 from zzp don't remember how much i payed for mine it was right around 200 tho
and keep your old cat they are worth money have platinum in them like 60-80 bucks each to the right person personally get one that gives u more hp if u gota replace always upgrade :)
