hey guys, i'm new to this forum so if this isn't the place to ask, i apologize. i recently decided against selling my 02 40th anniversary gtp coupe and am going to sink some money into it instead =)

i'm going to get it repainted, replace the headlights and taillights, and take care of all the cosmetic stuff first but afterwards i have about $3,000 to invest in performance / sound and am not as educated on the subject as i should be. if anyone could point me in the right direction and tell me how to get the best bang for my buck performance/money wise it would be greatly appreciated, so far the only advice i've been given is to get full SLP exhaust from the headers back so i'm getting ready to purchase that unless anyone thinks that's a bad idea.

any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.
 


Welcome.. there's a thread in the how to section about how to mod. Read up on that. Sounds like you have some time. Take that time and read the mechanical sections. Reading up, you'll learn and see the usual things and even answer some questions you'll have on other stuff.
