Adding Mods to a stock car

I have a '98 GTP all stock currently. I am planing to put a new pulley on for the supercharger. I have a 3.8 from what i have read and i was told to go down only a small amount otherwise it could mess up the car. I was planning on going to a 3.6 and that it would be a wise choice. A under drive pulley was suggested for me and I've had a hard time finding one. Also I was planning to put in a cold air intake as well. I have had some trouble finding one as well; i was told to use pep boys and they said i had to order one but I'm not sure if i should purchase a cheaper one and keep the cost low or spend the extra money for a "better" one. Hearing a few times, don't do much more than that otherwise it can mess up the transmission. True or False? I am also considering something to get the exhaust louder too. Lastly if anyone has any tips for me on adding anything please do share them with me.
