Adding HU with Monsoon

Im going to put in a new HU. I already have all my speakers rewired and am currently using a LOC to a new amp. My question is, if I dont mind losing the chimes or onstar and no longer need the monsoon, can i just use a basic GM wiring harness?
 


That's correct. You can use the basic GM harness. You will have to run a wire to the fuse box for power for the R.A.P. This is so the H.U. Powers off when the doors open.
