Adding a new key fob to 08 GP

How do you add a second key fob to a 2008 grand prix base? I thought there was a procedure you could do without a scan tool
 


pretty sure you need to go to the dealer for the newer years. if you only have one key, get another one while your there.

4 keys, only one fob... the battery clip inside it is breaking so I ordered a new one to add if I could do it myself or to unsolder and resolder the clip onto the one that is tied to the car... darn battery clips break so easily I solderd it a few times now and now the metal tab that solders on to the circuit board broke so no more doing that...
