Acura TL vs. my Gtp

well im driving back home & im on the freeway, so im just cruising when I see a car hauling a$$ in the far left lane.. btw im in the 2nd to last (left) lane. So this car passes me to my left & see its a nice dark color acura Tl with rims the kinda newer gen, like an 04 around there. So i speed up & get right next to em i didnt gas it or anything & were doing about 80 & drop it to 3rd gear & i dont know if does help but i push the perf. shift button when i race so dk. well he speeds up get like a car length on me but im not stepping on it, when i do i walk em like hes standing still :eek:
when i pass em like nothing i just do it enough to get my front fender in front, i let down my speed on purpose just taunting him & he steps on it again, we did this like 4 times & i kept putting my fender to about my door length in front & let off, i guess this guy was getting pissed or something cuz he just let let off & stayed in his lane but like a car or two behind me & im just laughing because honestly i thought he was gonna give me some type of difficulty..guess not, so yeah im almost at my exit & i change lanes & then some early 90ish sentra with a fart can passes by us & then the TL guy like he sped up to get next to the sentra but let off changed to a lane away from me & did his flyby haha :th_laugh-lol2:

*btw i always wanted an acura TL & specially that style, kinda sad i beat em in a way since i always that car :(, but really proud of my gtp :D
jeje still want a TL but the Type S :p
 




They have the 3.2 VTEC V6 from the Accord...rated at 270 horse and like 240 ish TQ...the Type S on the the other hand run 286 horse and 256 ft. lbs...with a higher revving engine and a new VTEC controller...plus instead of a 3.2...its a 3.5. That thing would have ate you alive. SO if it was a regular TL...I don't see why it wasn't too out of whack...seems possible...anything can happen on the street.

But the new ones are heavier, just like the RL so they're not any faster than the older ones.

BMW has been doing the same thing, but at the same time, adding more than enough power to make them faster.

Still the wrong way to build a car though. :th_jester:
