Accord Kill

Last night me and my buddies were heading back to their house, my one buddy is driving his 2 door accord, no fart cannon....yet. Anyways we pull up to a light and he revs his engine wanting to go. When the light turns green he gets the jump on me because my tires are spinning way to much but when I finally get some traction I fly passed him like he's not even moving and he was full out WOT. I honestly thought it would have been a closer race than it was, he does have a few perf mods. I thought his car was faster but I guess not.:th_laugh-lol3:
 


I've driven a 2000 accord sedan before. Seemed to have good low end, but it is an auto and is pretty gutless top end. I did get it up to about 6k before tho when I was shifting manually and forgot to shift up. Haha. Went about 55-60 in 2nd. The v6 accords are quick though. My dad got passed by one in the camaro and couldn't catch it.
 
i wonder if the new accord owners look on the civics the way we do... the V6 manual accord lists a 0-60 of 5.8, the civic Si is said to be 6.7 from honda
 


my girfriend just got an 04 coupe fully loaded, BUT its the 4 banger, i drove it today. its a nice car but not as much power as the GP, nice kill tho!

its very possible, maybe like we look at sunfires or at least the way I look at sunfires.
 
the newer v6 accords have got some balls. dont underestimate them. they have decent top end. a stock one pulled hard on me from a 50 roll
