ac unit can be changed into?



The second one looks like a pregen unit, so fitment would be questionable...

I would just stick to the dual climate control since it was a factory upgrade...
 




has anyone ever converted the dumb digital into the 2 dials version? if so is there a write up maybe? or am i dreaming
 
i get the feeling that at least part of the one with the dials is vacuum controlled, which would include running vacuum lines throughout your dash
 
^that'd make sense. I agree though, hated the digital in my 06. I prefer knobs because i'm either going full blast air or full blast heat.
 
Just looked at some of the different parts. Looks like the digital just has a separate box for the vacuum lines (makes sense) so the vacuum lines wouldn't be the problem. Would need to change the wire harness. A lot of splicing to change to knobs.
