Ac recharge question?

So I replaced the leaking condenser. Pulled vac held it overnight. Went to recharge system and the o ring at the condenser blew out once it reached a certain pressure.

So I replaced the o ring and pulled vac. Held the vac overnight and then used those recharge cans. Refrigerant goes in and the compressor never kicks on. I jumped the compressor to the battery and it kicks on, but when I reconnect the connector it never kicks on. The gauge on my ac can says 70 psi.

Did I pull to much vacuum? What's going on? How I jump the pressure switch?

When I hook manifold gauges it's reading 72 on low side and 75 on high side. This is without the compressor running because I can't get it to run

maybe the pressure sensor is bad. before you replace it trace the wiring into the harness. feel the wire for bumps, I have had several wires bad this way. You can also peel back some of that wiring from the top and look for corrosion.

I tried jumping the compressor again and I let it cycle for a minute or two... then I plugged the connector back in and the compressor kicked on. Now it's running normal lol. I put 24oz or refrigerant and the system was empty before this. It's blowing cold out of the vents, but isn't the capacity 36oz? It's an 02 gp 3.8

I always thought it was 1.88lbs, which is around 30oz. What is the ambient temp and humidity? What do the high and low side gauges read now?
