Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Ac conpressor not gettin power

It would explain everything. it explains why you jump the clutch and it keeps running, it explains why you have to wait 10 minutes, it explains all your problems. It is on the ragged edge working you are just so close to being low that changes in temp allow it to run. So find, rent, beg borrow or steal a set of 134 gauges and get back to us. We also need the ambient temp as filling freon is temp dependent. If it's in the mid 70's you might be 40/240psi but if it's near 100 your pressures are going to be higher. Also get a temp gauge you can put in the vent. You should have outlet temps in the 38* range

Im not low on freon and there isnt to much freon... And i stated about i switched out the high pressure switch and also the pig tail clip for the high pressure switch..

Whats even more weird is say i drive around with my ac shut off and but i have my temp set all the way to cold and my fan speed on 1 .. Well if i leave it like that and press the ac button on and off everyonce in awhile when im at a stop sometime it will kick in..... But my car has to eiter be running for awhile or driven awhile then it will randomly work

No.... But sometime when i push the ac button it will mess with the idle of my car..... And sometime it wont do anytjing..... Like if i push the button my rpm will go up a lil and if i turn the button off they go back down to normal

do they turn on at all when the a/c is turned on? both fans should turn on full speed when the ac is on, and not turn off till the ac is turned off.

you could have a bad temp sensor, or a maybe a bad climate control unit.

Ill go out and check here in a min.. But i know the ac will work by itself then yes the fans work... When i push the button and the ac doesnt work then nothin happens at all.. No fans ....... Even when i jump the compressor i dont believe the fans com on hifh speed until the compressor works without the jump...... Ive also notice if u unplug the high pressure sensor and bypass the red and white wire it kicks the fans on high speed but not the compressor....... What trmp sensro could be bad ... The one that reads my engine is where it should be and the one that reads outside temp if where it should be.... And climate control if ut talkin about hvac i swapped it with another..... Also when i adjust from hot to cold that does work

the actual engine temp sensor is what i meant, under the lim.

being the fans come on when its working, and not when its not. id go on a limb and try a new ( well used) climate control unit.

Ive swapped the climate control unit with my buddies and still the same result.... It works in his car but not mine

My next guess is to get a DMM and see if you can find a short some where.

i really hate electrical issues and get lost easy on em myself. someone with more electrical exp should pop in soon i hope.

If someone has schematics I can take a look. But if you jump the clutch it stays on that tells me there is some voltage there and it is allowing it to latch in the relay. When you activate the AC from in the car and the fans don't come on this points me to the pressure switch. I am also assuming when you jumper the clutch you have the AC in the on position. I also think if the PCM was trying to keep the AC from running I would think it already would have the fans activated and on high.

from what little i know, pretty sure its the hi pressure switch that tells the compressor to come on, jumping the compressor bypasses the hps.

That's the thing though, he isn't keeping it jumped he just touches it then it stays latched, which makes me think low pressure. That's how I read it anyway.

I have to leave it jumped for awhile b4 the clutch stays engaged itself... And where would the low pressure switch be located i couldnt find anyother sensor on the line

If the fans aren't turning on when the AC won't work.. you know what this tells me?

A second item that is controlled by the pcm isn't turning on when the AC won't. What I am saying is.. very very very very ... omg nearly 100% your pcm see's something that is keeping it from accepting the request for AC and turning it on. It turning the AC on at times, means that the conditions necessary to turn it on ... can exist.

Bet a scanner would show what isn't 100% in a min.

Wanted to think everyone for the advise it ended up being my fuse box under the hood the connector that the relay goes in were bent to were it was barley getting contact
