ABS / Traction Issue

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has had issues with their ABS and traction lights coming on? I believe the computer that controls these is damaged according to my auto mechanic. Does anyone know what the best solution for repair would be? Im looking for something inexpensive if possible, If not I will just have the dealer replace it for me.... which means putting at least a grand into it.

I have the same thing going on with mine. The lights come on intermittently. It could be a couple of things. First, one of my front rotors/pads had VERY uneven wear and causes a ticking noise when moving. Second, it could be the traction sensor on the hub. Both of these fixes are relatively cheap ($35 for a rotor or $20 for a sensor). I'd pull the wheels and take a look at your pads and rotors first and then make sure all of the hub sensors are connected correctly.

**Note**: sensors are built into the hubs (i'm an idiot) so you need whole new hubs to fix the sensor--its packed in the bearing.

I have the same problem, I started a thread today. I've replaced the wheel hubs twice. sent the computer to Module masters cleaned and replaced everything I can think of, no dice...
