ABS/TCS Lights

Yeah, so I was driving around today and I hit a bump in the road and instantly my ABS and TCS OFF lights came on. And pressing the TCS button itself did not affect this, my TCS is definately off and I can't figure out how to get these lights gone and function back to normal. Anyone else had this problem? :th_thumb-down:

It probably wasnt a bump in the road, that bump you felt was the crankshaft position sensor, seems to be a common problem with these cars, happens to me all the time, usually turning the car off and back on fixes it(temporarily)
did your tachometer die also?

have had this problem, as long as your sure it was a bump check your connections, i have one that likes to try to pop out all the time

a bad wheel bearing will cause the problem your having. or a bad connection between the abs sensor/wheel bearing and the computer. i would definitely check the wiring. that is what caused me to have your exact issue

just like he said... if you jack up the car you can look behind the wheel and see where the wires plug into the hub, i usually unplug and then replug to make sure i get it to snap into place (do this for all 4 sensors) if it still isn't going off then you could have a short or a bad hub which then it is easier to go get it scanned to find out which one is bad. On a side note its a long shot but there is also an under the hood fuse you may want to check
