ABS Situation

I have the light on for the ABS and the Trac Off light on as well.. I got the code scanned and it said "Right Front Speed Sensor".. I had it looked at and the wheel hub was loose and had it fixed, I was told the speed sensor was in the hub so I thought the problem was fixed.. Then I waited, summer, and now winter is around and had a tire replaced and was told the wire was cracked and corroded connected to the wheel hub... I had that spliced and fixed, the lights went out and had ABS back, then the next morning came and the light was back on... I had it scanned again and got the same CODE..

Any one think of what it could be? where to start? Help plzzz

Well the splice is going to get looked at again.. I hope it is not the hub, it was checked after the hub was fixed, and still gave no speed on the right front.. Isnt the sensor in the hub?

yeah thats what I meant, what brand of hub did you put in there first?

Does it have a warranty?

I'd recommend a timkin bearing if you need to replace it again.

timkin...

its a brand, they make some of the best wheel bearings for our cars.

Also if i read that first post right, if the hub itself was loose and you drove on it like that, then had them tighten it back up to spec, the hub is now junk anyway.

I have had the whole wheel assembly replaceed, Hub and Bearing... Like I said, I am fixing the Intake, and the splice, hub and bearing will be looked at again... The warrenty is a year.. I have replaced MANY (atleast 5 hubs total) on the front two tires, not on each, but altogether..

The splice was fine, when i put the clip on the harness, after I turned the wheel, it must have pulled off the harness, there are two wire ends that are bare... Lot of corrosion, looks like I will have to do some more wire work...

Well the ABS is taken care of, It was the wire going into the Hub.... It was replaced, then the clip was not secured tightly and completely came apart, new hub and wire harness and all is good... only paid for the harness and to install harness...
