just bought car and not two weeks abs light is on...... BUT its flashing sometimes fast and sometimes slower, and ive noticed and in the mph range of 40-45 it starts blinking again, a soon as i hit 46 or 39 its instant, not sure. dont know much of the gtp warning lights, any help is appreciated thank you.

More than likely you have a bad ABS wheel speed sensor. Probably one of the front ones. Jack the front end up to clear the front tires from the ground and give each tire a push/pull at the 12 and 6 position and see if there is any play. If so, then that could be the culprit and a new hub assembly is in order. May also want to check the wire harness that connects to it as well, as the front ones are known to corrode inside the wire sheathing and break, while appearing ok from first look.

I would start with the basics. Make sure the connections are clean at each one of the speed sensors. While you're there, check the voltage going to the sensors to make sure you don't have a short/bad connector. If all that checks out, you may have a faulty EBCM, which will need to be rebuilt. Will run about $100 with lifetime (ownership of the car) warranty.

had a tech at my work look at it, he said msot likley ebcm, into further investigation when hood is opened you can hear a clicking noise coming from the ebcm, which i belive waht is causing it to flash, heating up and contacting and then cooling down and releasing, he said it most likely is corrosion on the point, which will be dealt with tommarow , which leaves me to the mystery of why it turns off completly between the mphs of 40-45.
