ABS Light

I have an 01 grand prix and the ABS light comes on and stays on, just wondering if you had any ideas of what to check? Thanks

Usually, its one of the wheel speed sensors and you need to replace the hub assembly.

Broken front speed sensor harness. Need a code to tell more.

It could be a a whole slu of things... Code read would suffice.

My ABS light was on. It turned out to be a broken wire on the front passenger side speed sensor.

my abs light is on and my parking brake light is on beat that

well my abs light, tcs light, low coolant light (loose wire, so it acts like a strobe light), and check engine light are on.. Beat that..lol

my low coolant light is on and off abs is on lower washer fluid and also my air bag light lol

yea so back to the original question, get the code read.

In my 2000, It did this. I checked the ABS sensors. Ended up being the ABS Modual. New ones = 700

exactly why u need to get the code read, it could either be a broken wire(like mine) or the unlucky abs modual like him^
