The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
ok guys i plan to stop modding when i hit these mods......3.4, headers, true custom tune, intake, colder stat and plugs, ported blower, and maybe roller rockers...you think i should get a wideband or is it not necessary if im not the one doing the tuning....???
lol so true thats why im afraid to get a mps ill prob just get a wide band, mech boost, and aeroforce....on a triple pillar....but im thinking just get a dual pillar because to me 3 is too much in my face and i dont really need the boost gauge....what you guys think?
well guys i got a deal on a zzp triple pod for 25$ shipped brand new.....couldnt pass that up! looks like ill be running a A/F, mech boost, and an aeroforce should look hott
i like having a mechanical boost gauge. it is easier to read than boost on the aeroforce and it also shows vacuum so it is easy to diagnose vacuum leaks.
with any dramatic engine modifications, blower, tuning, etc, I would always choose to have a wideband accessible if there is an option! Its a good way to know if there is an issue, or in response to an issue. Your tuner is human, who is to say they will do it right... a dyno tune, as great as they are, aren't in real world conditions. Just one man's opinion... but we all know about opinions...
