Ok so lately the car has been acting funny. For example today I started my car and was just about to leave and turned on my ac and then went to mess with DIC to see what my range was and I heard a click and my ac shut off and DIC shut off. Didnt pay attention to what else turned off so I was wtf for a second and turned off the ac and it all came back on and turned the ac back on and all was well for the trip to and from work. it almost sounds like a relay clicking or something. Anyone have any thoughts on what this could be? My ignition lock cylinder has been messing with me lately but I dont think this has anything to do with it. please someone help me out before this turns into a major problem down the road.
 


if your dic is going on and off, and your ac is acting funny... like some speeds don't work all the time... its sounds to me like the symptoms of a bad ignition switch. Search for some ignition switch threads and see if that is what's happening.
 
I had figured my ignition switch is on its way out but I didnt think it would cause my DIC and AC to fail completly. The car ran fine while they shut off. Its only done it once so far and it shut off completly but when it came back on it all worked just fine. If its the ignition switch im ok with that I know what that takes to replace I was just afriad it was more then that. moneys a little tight right now so Im crossing my fingers it holds together for awhile longer
