A/C

Bought this 01 about 6 weeks ago when it was 10 degrees outside. Reached 80 today - decided to try A/C. No workie.....found the clutch on the compressor is not kicking in when the a/c is turned on. Question is ...the clutch is not kicking on.

I checked the fuse, relay, wiring. All seem fine. Does the diode in the fuse box ever go bad? I've been able to find that the clutch has to be on to recharge. Only way to do that is ground the clutch relay, or AC Refrigerant Pressure Sensor????? I can't find the location(s) from Chiltons or AAR online. Can anyone tell me exactly where their at (picture maybe?) or any other troubleshooting suggests.

Thanks guys

Short out the pressure sensor. If the clutch kicks on, then it's low on freon.

I don't pay much attention to the A/C system, but I think the pressure sensor is somewhere in the driver's side front of the engine bay. Under the airbox.
