A/c Problems

I'm asking for my friend that bought my old 98 GT.
For some reason, his air conditioner will blow out cold air on the passenger side, and hot air on the drivers side. All the knobs are turned to cold. Max ac has been turned off and on to see if it changes.
It does NOT have digital climate control, Just the old three knobs.
Any idea what's going on? Engine temp and everything stays around normal range. I'm stumped.

my car is doing the same thing, i believe its the flap under the dash is no good. im bringing it to my buddy hes a A/C guy so im sure he'll figure it out

Stuck blend door.

Mine was a little low on freon and did it.

the body shop just replaced the A/C condenser and all the other stuff and recharged it. its ice cold on the passenger. friggin dual zone. :th_shakinghead2:

Ah, A stuck door makes sense. The blend door is located where? Behind the stereo, a/c controls?
Is it cable driven?

Its more than likely low on 134a if you dont have dual temp controls

It was recharged. That was the first thing done.

Same exact problem here, digital controls, dual climate control. Checked charge all is fine. Dunno where to find blend door or what operates it can anyone help?¿
