My 97 GT is at it again, this time its really giving me a headache. A couple months ago the a/c on the driver's side went and the air vents went along with it. meaning that little air was coming out of the 3 vents closest to the driver. Passenger vents still blow hard as normal but the a/c appears to have gone out now too. More importantly, it seems that the defogger also went out as no air comes out anywhere when it turn it on. no a/c = inconvenience, but no defogger = big problem.
My local repair shop took a quick look at it and said that it is the blend doors causing the problem and that it would cost close to a grand to fix because of all the labor. so this one problem is close to totaling the car. anybody have any info so that maybe I could fix it myself?
