The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
i have a 2000 GT i was wondering if the dual a/c control will work in my car its out of a 2000 gtp i have the stock regular a/c controls in my car know
i would wait for a more informative post to do or not do this... but i imagine its possible to do so... but might take some modifying as yous is wired for even flow while the dual climate would need seperate feeds for both sides?? i dont do much is the electrical stuff outside of helping people put in stereos but i just thought id ad my .02 for the time being.
there's two connectors for the climate control in my 98gtp, the one is plugged in (i have the digital), but there's another connector of the same size and shape behind my glovebox door that's just laying around not plugged into anything. Just a guess that it's for the manual climate control, check behind your golvebox door to see if you have a second connector similar to the on that's plugged into your manual controls
Anything is possible depending on your abilities and dedication and you would certainly want a factory service manual (available on E-Bay usually).
The factory service manual seperates the manual A/C and the automatic A/C (option code CJ2) into seperate sections. In the automatic A/C section it says
Most aspects of the refrigeration, heater, and air distribution systems are unique to vehicles equipped with a dual zone system.
It looks like in the diagrams you'll be pulling most of the dash out to get all the componets into place. If you've got the time it looks doable.
Automatic air is the biggest thing I miss on my 2002.:th_frowning:
