Hey guys my a/c is blowing hot air and i wanted too know what i could check too see if theres a leak or something. Its a 99 grand prix gtp. Its getting hot and im gonna need too know where too go with this

Look for oil stains around the compressor & the AC lines, I think they also have coloured leak detector stuff you can inject into the AC line, then look for that colour to appear?

It may be worth the $$ to have a trained professional look at this issue. A/C isn't something I'd jump into without some knowledge, plus they can usually find the leak faster and tell you what it is, then you can fix it yourself.

the schrader valve on the a/c line.

No.

Do some reading on how to actually fill the AC system.

Gauging from what you type and how you answer questions, your skill level with cars is next to zero, it likely best to have a shop figure out whats wrong with your AC system.

I bet there is a bigger problem than just being low on freon, because the AC system is a SEALED system that should NEVER lose any of the freon inside.

I agree with Cam though (FFDP) from the sound of it, you are going to spend a lot of money trying to learn about AC and likely still do it wrong. A shop might be a lot cheaper in the long run.
