A/C and Daytime running lights

I have an intermittant problem with the A/C. When it works, all is well, when it does not work, I will switch the fan to 1-5 and nothing happens with the fan or the A/C and the daytime running lights shut off.
The radio display is also glitchy.
Some online sites suggest the ignition switch is the culprit.

my radio display sometimes appears to display a foreign language on it for no rhyme or reason and it just fixes itself.......I do not have any of your other issues however........not sure if they are related or not. Bad relay? anyway lets start with the basics.........what year make and model are you?
