99hd to 2002se trans swap

i have a 99gtp in need of a trans, i found a nice price and low mileage 2002 from a se, i should be able to swap my HD diff and thats all i have to worry about correct? what is this about trans cooler lines fitting?

will this change my gear ratio, if so its not a big deal i have a dhp, just wondering if im gonna drop MPG.
 


Swap the diff, diff cover, bearings on the end of the diff and the output shaft. Remember the output shaft should only be gently taken out the driverside to ensure you don't hurt the lube dam that keeps lube on the diff.

Gear ratio will end up being a 3.29 when you finish. Yeah, program it in...no problem there.

Cooler lines. Look at yours, are they click in or thread in? The 02 should be click in and IIRC 99 was also clickers.
