99 GTP vs. 92 Z28

I was heading out to grab some hamburger buns(have a cookout today), when some teenage kid starts pacing me in the worst green color Z28 ive ever seen. He paces me for a full min then looks at me , honks 3 times and we both gun it from a 60 roll. I pulled a door on him and stayed like that till 85, started to pull a little but then let off. He looks at me with a puzzled look, throws me a finger and takes off as I smile and just wave :th_wave: lol.

L98 is junk....do some more mods so you can put buslengths on them, hell it might have been a 305 car :th_shakinghead1:

Temps in the 90's didnt help things very much. I figured I would have had him better.. I know he had an exhaust maybe a few mods I dont know. Getting 3in. DP(shorty) and U-bend delete this week.

if its a Z28 its most likely a 350 TPI car, but those motors are dogs by todays standards. did the guy driving have a mullet?

not all the older 80 something to 92 z28 maro's had 350's. in fact from what i have seen, the 350 is more rare than the 305's in that era.

Had a similiar thing happen to me...it was one of the early 90's Z28. Black with bright pink and green decals..go fresh prince! Dude was pissed, no finger though, just kept trying as if something different would happen..hehe. Nice run!

So I'm trying to learn GM a bit better, when did the 305 and pre LT1 motors phase out, and the Z28's and SS's became the LT1's.

Im trying to learn about GM myself...I know some about GM but still learning...(from a Ford family), but its funny because I have a grand prix my Mom has a Grand Am and my Bro has a Sunfire lol. Btw, 2.5 DP is on the way from ZZP:D

in 92' they had the 25th anniversary heritage package..and there WAS a Z28 in 92.

EDIT: I know for a FACT because there is a 92' Z28 dyno at 1300whp (on 2 stage) sitting in my best friends garage!
