I recently purchased a 99 Grand Prix and love the drive and handle have no problems, until today i was driving and its raining all of a sudden when i pulled off my car stalled. I curious to know if there any known problem with that I'm inclined but used to Honda , toyota etc... Im thinking Cap or wires but thats also might i add it started right up again luckily since i was in traffic.

Do you wanna make this an intro thread or a help me fix it thread?

Intro.. Hi and welcome

Fix it thread: I'm gonna move it and respond. You havne't lifted the hood yet. There is no cap or rotor. It might be a crank sensor, but even that's tough to diagnose with only one instance. Sounds more like your car might not be up to speed maintainance wise and you're due for some plugs, wires and to check around under the hood.

Yes I have looked under the hood and spark plugs and wire I was in the mindset to change very soon guess sooner everything like I said looks and run good did compression n voltage test and was just curious to know about known problems. For the welcome blah blah post was not looking for that but immediate comments to my question but thank you for your response.
