99 GPGT humming noise

Unlike the other threads I have been able to find this humming noise starts pretty soon after taking off. It sounds almost like offroad tires, that kind of humm.

It makes the noise with the wheel strait and you can stop the noise by turnign the wheel to the right.

The noise sounds like it's coming from the right side, but I have already replaced the right side hub and cv axle. I am at loss here, the only other thing I can think of is that the transmission is going on it. 190k

Tires don't seem to have uneven wear (yet).
 


sounds like a wheel hub, jack the front wheel off the ground, grab the tire at the top, push and pull it, if it moves the hub is bad. the abs light on as well? if so its a hub for sure.
 
Alright thanks for the input guys. If it is the hub it has to be the left side, because I already replaced the right side. Which would be weird because it sounds like it's coming from the right side.

Stranger things have happened though.... I'll check the other hub this afternoon.
 
What makes you think a new part can't fail?

I see a learning experience in your future about assumption on new parts. :th_winking:
