99 DIC in a 03

Do you guys know if it's possible to install a 99 gtp Driver Information Centers in an 03 gt? What would be involved? I can get one cheap that's why I'm asking... Thanks!!!

So hate to be the bearer of bad news but that's a 97 only GTP DIC which means it will not work in 98-03 cars. Also you will have weird traction control issues if you use a GTP DIC in a GT

Another note is that the GT DIC's and GTP DIC's are different. GT DIC's for 98-03 say "TRAC" on the right button, GTP DIC's for 98-03 say "TCS" on the right button. Try to get the correct one for your car (GT=TRAC, GTP=TCS) or you'll have issues with the "TCS off" indicator light being inverted. You can fix this by doing some extra work but who wants to do MORE work? Moral of the story...just buy the right one!

If it makes you feel better, when I read this article many years ago, I went out and got myself a GTP DIC for my GT. Fail! LOL
