98 gtp vs mazda 6

so im driving home today and i have a silver mazda riding my ass, when the passing lane opens i see him open his car up and try and pass so i do the same and put a car lenght on him before i have to stop at a stop sign, which the dam kid blew right threw doing about 65. I drive up a little further to see him waiting at the stop sign for me, so i role down my window and some young kid prolly 16 goes you wana race? I say no that car is not worth racing, then he pissed me off and goes yea cuz your car is to slow and its an automatic. So we do the count down and he leaves early and i forgot to take off t.c and i still put almost 3 car lengths on him before hitting 90.god i love my gtp lol
sorry rant is over dam kids in my neighborhood are pissing my off with there parents cars and thinking there fast..

There is a Turbo Mazda Speed 6 its AWD, it has been compared to the WRX so if it was a Speed6 the kid must not know how to drive or shift because that thing stock will light up a GTP. Bottom Line on the Mazda 6 since i owned one i have the ability to compare, a GT 3800 GP can Roast a 4cyl Mazda 6 hands down, the 6S is a bit tougher, depending on the year and if its a manual or not those can fly and are very quick they would put up a good fight and if the driver is good can win, the Speed 6 cannot be touched, its a Turbo AWD 4cyl i have raced one in my mazda 6 and they will win unless the car they race is modded to the max and the speed 6 is stock, i raced one in my brother inlaws 2000 audi S4 twin turbo V6 AWD 6 Speed Trans and it gave me a very hard time so moral to the story, do not underestimate the Mazda 6 most of them now are not badged so you dont know what your racing, or how well the guy/girl can drive

this wasnt the speed 6, if i can recall the speed 6 has a body kit and a big ass intercooler on in the front. this was just your average 5 speed mazda 6. Doubt it was a 4 but idk the kid was young and deffintly sucked at driving.

They dont really have a body kit, just lowered, different wheels and bumpers, etc. And...they be top mounted intercoolers, not front mounted like the Cobalts...they basically take after the WRX/STi design.
 


lol. ha, im runnin a Grand Prix GT 02 model. 3800 Stock. I beat a Vtec Honda DOHC earlier. Idc what anyone sais, DOHC is over rated on 4 cyl, IMO, they only matter on 6 cyl and rare 8 cyl cars. My buddy has a 300zx, DOHC, hes done some stuff to it, that thing books.
