i recently bought a 98 gtp it has pillar guages one being a boost/vacume guage when im just crusin alon the vacume reads almost 20 and when i put it to the mat it climbs up to 0? i looked up videos on youtube and watched all these videos of stock gtps pushing like 10psi is something up with mine? i dont know much about superchargers other than they give ur engine a little extra boost for acceleration so any info on how i can get my boost level up would be awsome :th_king-evil:

does your car feel slow? you may have a boost/vac leak.

EDIT: what does the little boost gauge in the DIC say? (if you have one)

Where do you have the lined hooked up at? I bet you hooked it up wrong. Needs to be on the line going to the map sensor.

im not sure where its hooked up at i bought the car with it installed already and idk cant really say its faster than the 4 cylinder ranger i had lol but the boost guage on the DIC says like maybe halfway. i do notice that it kinda starts up hard like cranks over slightly as soon as u turn the key dies out right away then fires idk if a vacume leak would cause that or not?

It is in the back of the engine, its bolted onto the supercharger. there is a little nipple on the botton where a vacuum hose goes and then that hose goes under the supercharger snout, and then to the fuel rail. there should be a tap into that somewhere.

If it snaps straight to zero its hooked up wrong...the vac tree has a check valve..guessing that's where its kooked into. And I second the bbv on the half boost issue. Any other mods or just gauges? And what other gauges is it running?

Anyone have pictures where the T should go for the boost gauge? I am having the same issue.
Right here....between the T under the snout and the MAP
