98 grand prix gt no start



Tried jumping with a screwdriver and all I could do was make it spark.


Checked all relays and fuses labeled ignition and all seem to function properly
 
Car is still just sitting. My sister decided to try jumping the starter the other day so that she could go back to her house really quick ( she isn't supposed to drive because she just got a dui). Every time she went to jump the starter you could hear the starter spin up but it wouldn't engage. I'm so lost with this car
 
Lol the car stopped starting before she got the dui.

In all seriousness I need to get this running so I can either a) sell it or b) use it as my winter bester if my intrepid is still getting it's rear quarter fixed
 


see what smart people do is postpone the court date as long as you can. so you can still drive lol and get a good lawyer of course.
 
She probably would have done that except for the fact that the cop only gave her 15 days to drive before her license was suspended lol
 
wtf? you innocent till proven guilty in court. they cant do that. unless that was the court date, and she didnt get a lawyer.
 


that sounds like a pile of crap to me. you need to be found guilty in court, then the judge takes your lic right then and there.
 
Did you ever figure this issue out? I'm having a similar problem with my 2006 GP. I was left stranded in a parking lot. After having it towed and the starter replaced the car turned right over and ran (and started promptly) like a champ for a few days. Then it started taking a few seconds to turn over again here and there.
