I have a 94 Gran Prix--when in gear it sounds as though a chain is flopping around in the lower rear of the tranny. Are these built like a transfer case? I can feel it in the shift handle also. Confusing part is this....tranny runs good , shifts as expected and performs exactly like it should. But has a loud clicking or dragging type noise??????? Definetly coming from the center of the tranny in the area the shafts go in at. Does not do this in park or neutral. Can anyone help me ??---Thanks Roger
