Does anyone know how to remove the lock from a '93 grand prix? I'm talking about the lock cylinder, not the latch or power lock actuator. It looks like there is only a c-clip style faster holding it in but I can't seem to get it out. The lock isn't working anymore, and I already had my door panel off to replace my mirror and inside door handle, so I thought I'd pull the lock and take it to a locksmith to see what they could do.

that C clip is all that holds it in, you need to pop it off, they are very snug. you can buy 2 new locks with new keys for pretty cheap. then you swap both sides. and have all new door locks.

you can do the trunk too, same deal most of the time. most auto parts stores carry new locks.
or theres e bay and the rest of the internet. its been years but iirc i paid like 20 for a pair of locks.
