91 gpse ,throttle is sticking

My gp is sputtering in park, then when i kick it in drive the rpms stick at 2k.Then when i come to a stop, its still racing and then kicks down to a sputter.The code reads, heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) circuit (rich exhaust indicated).Any tips on this problem will help ,thank you.

It sounds like your throttle position sensor (TPS) might be shot, or dirty. I'd first start with spraying the throttle body and TPS clean first. If it still has the problem, try swapping the TPS out. They're only about $15 new.

sound like there may be more than one issue. check all vacuum lines. check wiring for the 02 just some thing to try ...
