9 psi on a stock pulley...video

its boost stacking. this isnt a twin screw blower, its a roots...you want as much air flowing as possible. rockers or a cam are needed in this situation before the piston breaks off some chips like a bag of lays. the 3800 wants less boost with smaller pulley!!! hope this helps

stock heads cant flow crazy amounts of air. i could see it happening close to redline. rockers might be a good investment.

Weak... lol kidding.

I wouldn't worry too much about boost levels on a roots blower unless your degrees of knock is the same as your boost level.

yea i ment to retype that when i did it, stock heads combined with stock cam.

up top it dont seem like it can keep up with flow. i dont hit max boost till 5k plus also.

so am i ok im not knocking at all the kr is being scanned right above the boost gauge i dont get any kr until i get to about 80 and then i knock which should disapate with a tune.....so is this bad or no? im not knocking at all on that pull you just watched....is it a factory freak?

seems kinda iffy that stock heads with headers cant flow the boost produced by a 3.8 pulley.....if stock heads cant flow these small numbers thats weak sauce lol and as the psi goes up i feel a lil more pull.....so isnt the boost going to good use then?

If your not knocking when you put the 3.4 on then boost away brother. 9.5 on a stock pulley just seems like alot especially since you have headers but if you have no KR then who cares.
