code 42 module or sensor problem. i changed coil packs and module off a running car, i also changed the crank sensor. i thought it was the wire between the module and crank sensor and it wouldt start, so i plugged back in the original wire. does anyone know anything about the wire going to the computer first? or is it like the 3.1 with the two wires going directly from crank sensor to the ign module?any help?code 42 is the only code and it seems to run best when cold but when warm it sputters alot. car has a whopping 43,000 miles and it is 21 years old....shouldnt be nothing wrong with this thing....

ok so i found ripped off wire from the knock sensor. repaired wire, started to miss alot. then gave it a tune up, found a broken or bad plug wire, changed wires and plugs, all is great, no miss, and no engine light! yay
