• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

87's Garage

I'm really happy w/ the tails. I've seen these tails with a lighter tint to the lens and to me it didn't look good on my car. The darker the better for me. The head lights look good, but really they are just black housings with clear lens. But they were the same price as new stock head lights, so I chose the black head lights. But both have draw backs. The headlights get moisture in them. I should have put silicone around the rings were the lights go in. The tail lights are supposed to be direct fit, but there are three screws that hold the lights in. On one of the lights the screw couldn't go in without breaking the screw. So one light has 2 screws, the other has 3. There was also gap below the tail lights, but I used weatherstripping to surround the lights. It was really easy and if you didn't know better, you wouldn't even notice. The tail lights cost as much as a new pair of stocks, so I chose to go aftermarket for the same price. Hope that helps

More updates: tint. Decided to go 20% on all windows except the windshield. No brow. I wanted all the windows to match. I'm happy with the results
Before

It was a blah kinda day, no sun and rain so it looks dark outside

After

I got used to it after about 2 or 3 days. Only slight problem I have is backing up my driveway in the dark with no lights on around. With the tint it's tough to tell grass from pavement at night. Other thing is I can't spot cops from a quarter mile ahead in the rear view on the highway anymore even during the day. But overall I'm loving the tint. I think it really helps the look of the car

Need brighter reverse bulbs, I have no problem backing up in the dark through my 10%. If worse comes to worse, roll side windows down and use your mirrors, that's how the pro's do it anyways.

In regards to the radar/cops, do you drive down the highway in reverse? It should be facing forward, if they are behind you and you are speeding, they already caught you, pull over, play nice. If not, don't worry, stay calm speed on.

The tint looks great. I use my mirrors cause of the 5% on my back 3. Get a brow piece, I put off doing it. Now I'm very happy I got it done, no more sun in the eyes.

Camo: I'm using my cell phone, isn't even a smart phone
I also put the front plate filler in. I had bought one off of ebay, then as I was cleaning out the car I found the original at the front of the trunk. I put it in when I did the weatherstripping on the tails. Still have to put my inlays on
