Re: 85 trans am!!!

LS3 is over priced.

That's silly.

Buy a 5.3. Quit being boring.

I'm going to do a 5.3 or 4.8 in my second gen trans this ones getting a 383 stroked 69mm turbo and looking for a fourth gen I want to make into a track car

Re: 85 trans am!!!

Is it in pieces also lol
Lmao....it is very much so, but I've been working on her.

Check it out in the members ride. The link is in my Sig, bro!

I like the fact that you are bringing it back to life.

Re: 85 trans am!!!

Wow, that's awesome! You are doing a great job on this Trans Am. I'm excited to see what the outcome will be.

Do you do auto body work, also?

Re: 85 trans am!!!

Thank you and yes all the filling sanding cutting welding grinding ill do myself the fiber glass too. The plastic jug for washer fluid had a busted corner and I made a patch out of a square washer fluid bottle. The blue grey ground effect piece was cracked bad at the corner so I used jb plastic weld and fixed it on the back then used little pea sized bondo to smooth it all out ready for paint now and I'm about to go get the welder and weld the passenger patch

Re: 85 trans am!!!

Cool, did you teach yourself how to do body work or did go to school for it?

Also, check out my YouTube channel again. Look at the cover photo and tell me what you think.

Re: 85 trans am!!!

A lot of self teaching. Watching videos watching my grandfather having him teach me some but mostly self taught

Re: 85 trans am!!!

This second patch is kicking my a$$!

I can understand that I ran into that problem with a 66 Impala I had about 20 years ago.
just my 2 cents if you run a small block other than a LS I would run a aftermarket efi rather than a carb

Re: 85 trans am!!!

I would like to do an efi system but there a lot of $$$$$$$ v/s a blow through carb and msd box that controls it.
